MUSEUM OF DESIGN ATLANTA AND THE AMERICAN CRAFT COUNCIL TEAM UP FOR PARTY & BENEFIT
The 21st annual American Craft Council Show will bring plenty of excitement to Atlanta this spring with its highly respected roster of craft artists and their one-of-a-kind jewelry, clothing, furniture, home décor and more. But those in the know have realized that the best way to see the show is to attend the Preview Party for a sneak peek and a chance to mingle with the artists while enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Preview Party attendees also get first view of the amazing one-of-a-kind works the show has to offer – it’s a chance to buy before the show even opens. The 2010 Preview Party will jointly benefit Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) and the American Craft Council, a national, nonprofit public organization whose mission is to champion craft.
PARTY Join MODA and the American Craft Council for the American Craft Council Show Preview Party. The evening will include hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, the opportunity to meet the American Craft Council participating artists, and best of all – a chance to purchase their works ahead of the crowd.
During the evening, attendees will also have a chance to view ATLANTA: Beyond Bricks & Sticks, a traveling exhibit honoring the metro area’s green projects presented by MODA, which will be housed in the Cobb Galleria Centre during the dates of the American Craft Council Show and Preview Party.
